Resistance Welding & Weld Brazing
Resistance welding joins metals by applying pressure and electric current to melt and forge them together. TRIAC provides a range of resistance welding options, including spot, seam, projection, and direct welding, catering to various industrial needs.
-
Effective for welding both similar and dissimilar metals.
-
High production efficiency with the capability for semi and full automation.
-
Requires complex and high-cost machinery.
-
Significant power requirements.
-
Limited thickness of workpieces.
-
Less efficient with highly conductive materials.
Our Offerings:
Spot Welding: TRIAC excels in a wide range of spot-welded contact and non-contact assemblies using materials such as fine silver, silver cadmium oxide, silver nickel, coin silver, copper, steel, and palladium/silver, welded to copper, brass, or steel substrates. We also specialize in welding and solidifying copper wire lead connectors to miniature welded contact sub-assemblies.
Direct Welding: Utilizing higher KVA for direct welding creates a larger bond area compared to typical spot welding.
Weld Brazing: Incorporating a solder shim enables the brazing of larger contact tips using our resistance welders.
Hot Riveting: Provides a superior attachment compared to traditional riveting.
Applications Include: Switches (rocker, toggle, limit, logic, and auxiliary), circuit protection, and IEC devices.
